I just received my first piece of vintage Old Spice gear - a Hull 01 mug and I must say it's absolutely beautiful.
For being 70-something years old it's holding up pretty well :)

Would love to see what other Old Spice collectible gear is out there on your shelfs/in your den - and do you use it or just display it? I haven't made up my mind yet on if this one will be put to use or not....

Hehe......... I threw a wobbler a couple of years ago and snapped up a load of Old Spice Soaps and bowls in one go ......... I have about four bowls, three NOS pucks of soap and one NOS bowl and soap combo boxed.

I think it may last me a while :D

I would like to ask; which soap performs as good as an Old Spice soap? all these artisan soap makers, can't they just imitate this soap? or is it possible to reverse engineer the all ingredients and technique? so this soap can be produced again?

2 mugs, 2 pucks, 1 stick, vintage deodorant, vintage aftershave, soap on a rope, modern deodorant, modern shave cream.
I always think the vintage deo smells spot-on when it goes on but it doesn't last (scent wise); the modern doesn't smell quite right initially but then it does - and it lasts.
I reckon Darron's Spice Trade hard soap was on the money - still hoping to see it come to market.

Seriously envious of PLANofMAN's display. I only have a late (Belgian) Old Spice white glass mug, which I use for lathering, and an original Classic Old Spice Aftershave, one of aforementioned Christmas presents from my youth whose contents are strictly rationed. Wish I still had the Old Spice shaving brush and soap stick I was given!

Regards,
Chris
