Lather Shots

It probably could have done with less water but it's difficult to know how much because these brushes hold so much. I was obviously trying more water than normal but it still didn't affect the shave, which really was fantastic. In normal use of course, there won't be much call to use a lot of the product though. Still not cracked on the scent though, but it fitted today.

It's one of those summer days with some cucumber water and a stroll through a meadow to my nose. A very subtle fragrance compared to TOBS line.

It's my wife's favourite, both for the scent and post shave feel. I'd used the almond, and sandlewood so that's why I hadn't used the avocado, as I didn't really care much for it. On a day like today was, I have to say it was perfect. I love Wickham's Club Cola for that reason too.

How do you find the Gea?

I actually have Haslinger coconut lined up for my next shave. Just wish the pucks were twice the size. I already think it's one of the best soaps so I'm looking forward to a lather with the DO1. I was considering getting honey or schafmilch next.

Get both. That's both. Both.

The puck lasts for many shaves, don't think I've ever finished one.

I just find the size more difficult to lather with. I was actually going to limit myself to one scent per soap but having used products of the calibre of Haslinger, OSP, Wickham's, Phoenix & Beau and Razor Master, that thought went completely out the window.

Put it the palm of your hand, submerge it completely in water, flick the brush dry and go for it, any lather collected in the palm can be used as a pre shave wash.
