Simpsons Duke 3, TOBS St. James, D. Peres 5/8 and a splash of DR Harris Arlington to finish.

I'm getting the hang of this SR malarky now!, Absolutely beautiful shave, most enjoyable.
 
This is my first SODT post, thought today was as good a day as any to start.

Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (Sixth Day)
Brush: Semogue 830
Soap: Palmolive Shave Stick (grated into a tub)
Aftershave: Alum Block & Nivea Sensitive Aftershave Balm

Palmolive is always reliable for me when I want a good shave and in the tub it feels like a more premium product than it is. It was a sunny day today so I thought I'd take the photo in the garden, it won't be like this everyday! ;)

In one word: it's a great brush! The knot is 22mm, so not too small, but small enough to load soap from a small container without any trouble. As to be expected from a Plissoft knot the tips are super-soft, yet it has no trouble loading even triple-milled soaps. It also works exceedingly well with creams. I have a couple synthetics that have more backbone, but then they don't splay as easily and comfortably as the Disruptor.

As with everything else in brush-land, handle choice is a personal thing, but I really like it. I have large hands (and a touch of arthritis) so the slightly taller handle is very welcome and I find it very ergonomic.

I would not hesitate to buy another if for any reason I was to lose this one. I highly recommend it, and the price is right.

+1 I haven't used any other brush than the Razorock Plissoft since getting it a few weeks ago and all my other brushes are good quality silver tips. It's excellent with any cream or soap and at that price it's difficult to fault.

Yes, I have Proraso green and red and I was thinking of doing everything the same tomorrow with one of these instead of the white - I think the green is more a wake-up soap and the red is the best cushion...the white is definitely not among my favourites (atm that position is taken by P&B Denali)

Thank you Greybeard, that will teach me to play around with manufacturers specs, I now know they know what they are doing, I dont!

I had a Super Close BBS Shave this Morning with My Atlas 7/8th..The Atlas is the Heaviest Blade that I Have..Its a 1/4 Hollow I think & it has an Edge like a Laser..I Find these Hard Swedish Steel Blades Less Forgiving than Solingen or Sheffield Steel SRs but with a Lighter then Light Touch Offer a Spectacularly Close Shave with Minimal Passes..I Love this Razor..o_O

A Super Close Shave this Morning..I am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed..:D
