I love my Sunday shave more than any other and I'm not sure why but another chance to use the Sabre is why today.
I whipped up a super lather with my now tidy looking Semouge 2000 in the perfectly sized little Wren lathering bowl and had a leisurely shave while listening to the Black birds singing outside in the garden and it was another perfect shave, the Sabre with Gem blade just effortlessly removing my stubble and on the second pass just leaving smooth skin it its path, a couple of clean ups in the usual places and done, smooth as smooth can be and again zero irritation, is this the best razor I have in my stable.....it could be. It's certainly one of the best looking ones that's for sure!
I finnished with a splash of Rose Petal Thayers shortly followed by a couple of drops of Jojoba oil to moisturise.
My scent today is the wonderful Channel Blue Aqua, it smells Divine.

Second shave with the Astra Platinum was very sharp and smooth. Better than the first. Perfect BBS in two passes. No irritations, skin feeling great. Beside the Feather Hi Stainless also the Astra Platinum works great with the Merkur 37C.

That Sunday morning shave was accompanied by Beethoven`s Symphony No 7 in A Major, op 92.

Beautiful part of the Symphony No 7, the Allegretto.

My new Omega brush and wee wren bowl churned the 1912 into a nice lather, leaving the 45c to chase away the stubble in three passes with no buffing required.
The end result was what we all look for in a shave " smooth with no irritation ".
I'm happy in the knowledge that the Omega will get even better the more I use it.
Finished off the shave with a splash of RR xXx.

Have a relaxing Sunday gentlemen.

First time using the Flying Wing (cheers @mpf9ret ) and it felt like an old friend, its wonderful balance led to a wonderful two pass (WTG/XTG) shave.
All this was helped by the slickness provided by the Wickham's sample sent to me by @shaunwistow, cheers mate.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien ~ Coconut Sheabutter Shower Gel .

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Chinese Synthetic.

Bowl Lather.

Soap : Blue's Goat milk Soap .

Blade: Gillette Nacet.(2)

Razor: Gillette Tech (ENG).

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture/ Old Spice ~ Original Aftershave.

Boots ~ 'Freshwood' Aftershave Balm.

A nice relaxing 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with the no errors to report.

The Gillette Tech is such a wonderfully mild, but efficient little razor, it paired up really well with the Gillette Nacet.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine...Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.:cool:
