SOTD Saturday 23rd Sept-Friday 29th Sept 2017

This is my favourite Valet so far, I'm looking out for a VC2 as my previous one wasn't shave worthy.
Might bide my time for the Colonial Gem as I really like the General.
I like the General but as I've got it in brass although I may go for a new brass handle I'm not sure about getting the stainless steel one.
I think a polished Sabre is higher on my list and that is just below the Cobra but we will see, :) good night mate.

I don't think I'll bother with the SS either but would definitely like to try a Cobra.
'Night mate.

Razor: Cheapo razor from The Personal Barber subscription service.

Soap: Palmolive Shave Stick (absolutely love this, lathers easily and so slick and thick).

Blade: Rockwell (thanks Wayne for sending it)

Aftershave: Lavender (B) Aftershave Balm (testing for @neilbart)

Good shave, I am getting better each time. The Rockwell blade seems to be spot on for me. Next to no irritation or burn. I can go against the grain fairly comfortably.

I was going to use my new RazoRock Dead Sea A/S, but it I am not fond of it. It lasts all day the scent, but it is just overpowering. It is incredibly feminine smelling (think old women perfume) and I just cannot get in with it. Which is a shame as I love the RazoRock Santa Maria Del Fiore.

Funny you should mention this Paul, whilst away, because of carry on restriction (understandable) in the states I wasn't able to use my goodies waiting for me at SIL,s so had to buy a disposable and cream. However didn't dare post my sotd as I thought I'd get flamed for even mentioning a disposable.
Ps, I had some great shaves with this setup, ahem, moving on swiftly. :DView attachment 29330

Yes , I read your post, bloody good razors the Valet's.
Yes it will pick up charges this end, around £45 if I remember correctly but I don't regret buying mine one little bit......it's the next chapter as far as the Gem bladed razors go and it was wanted by many and imo it delivered the goods :) P.

+1 The Sabre is a great razor.
