To get the best from any new scent, give it a spritz in the morning and see how you like it. Also, if you can give a spritz of it in a room that you then vacate and can go back to maybe an hour later ... that's what you smell like to other people.

OK not really 'acquisition' but I bit the bullet and got my Commodore reknotted by Simpson. Cost almost the same as a new brush by the time you factor in shipping etc but I know its proper now, looking forward to getting it broken in (just gonna use it, no shenanigans!)

Good to hear Paul. As I was buying brushes from Anth I nearly asked for this as well but I have enough soap. I know how highly thought of this stuff is. I figured I didn't need to acquire a liking for something I can't get again, so I am glad you nabbed it!

I'm really pleased I nabbed it, I have several Valobra pucks and stick's but they are all out of reach in storage and will remain there until I can find more suitable housing for myself.

Pashana Original Aftershave
Following a long ago, failed purchase (which involved the intervention of my bank in recovering my money because, yes, I'm that tight) I have finally snagged a bottle of this from a retailer site. I'm not sure whether the aftershave has been resurrected by the company who bought the brand or whether I struck lucky on a hitherto undiscovered cache. However, availability looks better than it was - although some sites are wholesale.
It smells like it's right up my alley. Time to re-stock @pjgh ?
