SOTD: Saturday 12 - Friday 18 November 2022.

Sunday:
I did say I would keep the setup similar before I went to the Remembrance Day parade. Here's what I used along with my suitably polished medals.
(I used the Razor Emporium impregnated polish cloth that I got as a freebie when I bought my revamped slim, it worked perfectly on my medals as I could keep it away from the ribbons)
For some reason, I struggled to get a great lather with one my boars, so I changed it up for a synth which worked great.
A parade, dedications, a toast to the fallen. We will remember them.

Monday:
A few members were using Lupo razors last week. I think it's a super razor and love the design, so I popped a Wizamet iridium in which should last a while seeing as I'm away working for a few days this week and won't be taking the Lupo.
British Leather was the first thing I grabbed, no rhyme or reason for choice besides the fact that both were towards the front of their respective draws!
That was 6 hours ago and my face is still BBS!

PALs day today, thought I’d check out these bad boys, so, left cheek 50s Injecto Matic, right cheek 1962 adjustable. The relative design looks of these two is like comparing a Model T Ford with an E Type Jaguar. Nevertheless, unlike the cars, their performance was pretty equivalent each delivering a smooth clean shave in 2 passes wtg atg.
The elegant and futuristic ‘62 PAL adjustable injector design has really endured through the decades, look at SUPPLY and Parker for example. Something with both style and substance is diffIcult to find.
Rubberset synthetic homage, and fast becoming a favourite of mine, Razo-Rock Puros soap. Great start to the week.
Have a great evening fellas,

Razor: Razoroc Game Changer JAWS .64
Blade: Astra Stainless (1)
Brush: Simpson Duke 3
Soap: Tabac
Splash: Tabac

Well that was brutal! Why I thought the JAWS would be a good idea I don't know, far too harsh and aggressive for me so it's going right in my sell pile. A shame about the Tabac too, I struggled to build a lather, any time I added water or seemed to just dissolve. The lather was thin and didn't lubricate at all. I think it is the best smelling of the 'manly' scents but based on this performance it's also going in the sell pile. 20221114_050945.jpg

Which Tabac is it? Is it the old Tallowate one or the newer Laurate version?

Razor: Rockwell 6s
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated, 2nd use
Brush: AP Shave Co. Lemon Drop G5A
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: Bart’s Balms Lochnagar Oil
Soap: Signature Soaps Londinium Puck
Aftershave: TOBS No. 7 Lime Aftershave
Balm: Bart’s Balm Sample Balm

A lovely shave again with the superb Rockwell 6s. The Signature soap lather is just amazing and from memory it’s the first time I used it with my 3-D printed bowl, the lather just exploded into a thick cream creating enough to overfill the bowl! There’s nothing quite like it!
Enjoy your evening guys!

Another great shave with a razor I had never heard of Dave.
So you're not going to be posting as many YouTube videos, a real shame but I guess the waiting will make the watching more enjoyable.
"Dave from KY says just shave through it"

Paul.
