New, custom stainless steel brush handle

[QUOTE="Bechet, post: 458111, member: 1664"No stubbies I can think of.[/QUOTE]

Which is exactly why the market could use one! There are clones such as Dr.Dulcemara's but they're all quite expensive due to material and machining costs. Also, I suspect more people prefer smaller handles and I personally think that a stubby version would be quite a success.

Maybe a stubby 400 could be the TSR handle :)

Count me out of any stubby brush, thanks! But you are right, I feel - a stubby 400 would fly off the shelves IF the price could be kept down, as in pot metal casting.

Wouldn't need to be too stubby, I mean it still needs to emulate its larger brethren. Casting would be heavier and not really of the quality we'd need.

I have an aluminium rubberset homage made by our own midas. I am the 2nd owner but reading up on it's history it seems to have been a lot more work than first thought. The handle is fantastic in shape size and weight. Can't comment on how it compares to an original though. Only thing is it currently has a 24mm v2 synth in it which I feel is a little small for it. I might have it re knotted.

I'm hoping to score one of these down the road. I bet it's a beauty.

Used it this morning and It is a thing of beauty. Must stick it on the scales and weigh it. It's nice and hefty without being too heavy.

On a separate note I see Rod Neep has a new batch of brushes all the same just out. I'm guessing they may be for a forum or group. They are from his retro deluxe line which are one of the nicest looking brushes I have seen. His normal custom brush prices are in line with the quality of the brushes. I have no idea what a group one could be priced at. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1440405624.949512.jpg

Worth a conversation with Rod?
