I just had a look on flea bay and came across a decent looking John Clarke and Son Sheffield SR. Round point 5-6/8ths. Scales look good nick.It's my first Sheffield SR. I'll send it to my favorite Scottish Hone Meister for a tickle up. Hope it's a good one. Soon find out.

Pulled the trigger on some Saponificio Varesino soaps today hope to have them tomorrow and give one or two of them a go. Who said DE was cheaper ????

Colognes arrived this morning! First impressions of the Alvarez Gomez are excellent - lemon, lemon and more lemon with a slightly herbal background. I love the fact that it's so simple and doesn't have any musky/woody notes in the base so it doesn't dry down to a muggy skin scent. It stays light and crisp and then poof, two hours in and it's gone completely. The DR Harris is a little bit of a let-down and the only note I get is a very strong hit of cloves?
