D R Harris

Yesterday I spent a couple of hours of fun, walking around Piccadilly, St James's street and Jermyn street.
In TOBS I found the soap version of the Sandalwood cream is much more to my linking so I got a shaving stick to try out.
In Dr Harris, I got the Marlborough shaving stick.
This morning I shaved with the Marlborough and it was very nice. The scent strength is rather weak but it does remain present during the whole shave. It has a cedar type of scent.... very nice and the performance is equally good as the Windsor and Arlington.

I loved the TOBS cedar but they don't do a soap version.

I'll pick up other soaps next time :)

I really don't miss walking around that area (I visited London a while ago, too long a while, heck...) ... Actually I miss it... my wallet doesn't...:D

I picked up a DRHarris soap (Windsor) via BST a month or so ago on the basis of excellent reviews. It's good, verging on very good. But it doesn't quite reach the performance heights (in my view) of a P&B or an OSP, or indeed a Palmolive stick or a Tabac. I'd say the same of the TOBS products

BUT...

I think the Windsor scent is a winner - I'm putting some of their cologne, AS and EDT options on the Christmas list (long term planning, etc).
