Keep blade in razor

After every shave bar none, I rinse and towel dry my razor, pat the blade dry and pop it back in said razor. I do this at home and on the rare occasion I travel. I use a blade at least three times, sometimes four or five if I feel it's got enough oomph left in it. Turnover? Isn't that with apple and fresh cream?

My blade stays in the razor until it's replaced.

There's no point in turning the blade over, some people just like to complicate what should be a simple task.

My thoughts. I now have a couple of razors with a blade in, I remember how many shaves have had with each and they will be there until replacement.

As for keeping the blade while travelling, my only concern would be affecting the edge... I think I'd take the blade out...

I use one razor for a week, Thursday night is new blade night and a razor change if I feel like it.

I leave it in the razor. Blades cost pennies so no point in faffing around. Bit wasteful if it does increase the life expectancy, but meh!! Also rinsing with water, alcohol etc also is technically wasting too...

I never do acrobatics with my razors and blades. Always keep the blade in, don't switch it around, don't use alcohol, rinse with water and let it dry. I give the razor a scrub when I'm replacing the blade. I've never had any kind of problems with my razors.

I never remove the blade to store. I might open the razor to give it a good rinse but I'm pretty much a 3-4 shaves and done kinda guy. I do give the razor a few firm shakes after rinsing and pat the outside dry.
