What fiasco? PM me?
Lack of fiasco was the fiasco. The poor chap did try.

Surely it's just supply and demand? The item may be for sale elsewhere considerably cheaper but how long is the wait for it to arrive?
Pay more for convenience?

The shop over the road from my office sells 2 litre milk for £2 Tesco sell 4 pints for £1.09 But that's further away. Sometimes I buy less for more. Because it suits.

Exactly. There may be someone for whom £108 TODAY is a perfectly.reasonable price to pay, or at least to start a conversation - especially now he knows the seller has more than one.

Nope, not going with that. I have a soap from OSP not to be made for " a long time" i have not even thought about profiting from it. I would rather PIF than profit.

Put your money where your mouth is then and let's see some of your unobtainable soaps in a PIF

I am gobsmacked where wet shaving community is going towards. When I started we all were Gentlemans and we did not seek profit. We supported and educated each other.

Years ago there was member SMF whom seek profit. Community disappoved of his methods and he was asked to leave forum.

I truly believe this is not eBay or other for profit site. All prices should be within the reason. Gentleman to Gentleman.if we fail who we are them if not a .......

Let' take example from other place and remind profiteers that WE ARE GENTLEMAN CLUB AND SUCH SHOULD BEHAVE ACCORDINGLY.

This new fashion of profiting and raffles make me to withdrawn from shaving world slowly.
To sum up, while BST rules were good in past maybe is time to rethink them as we getting more and more non gentleman's?

Disagree. The forum should not change their rules because some people's noses got pushed out by a high price in the BST.

There are loads of BST offerings that I disagree with the prices on, but I don't comment on them.

plenty of antique forums where people pick things up in a charity shop for next to nothing and sell it on for thousands if you think it's gentlemanly to let them have it for what you paid then that's great but I would just call it stupid
