SOTD Saturday 23rd Sept-Friday 29th Sept 2017

Pre: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger
Soap: I Coloniali
Razor: ATT Kronos M2
Blade: Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus (5)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
EDC: Acca Kappa 1869

Great suds from the I Coloniali. It has such a unique scent; sort of warm, dusty and musky. Another great three pass shave for DFS+, finished off with the spicy citrus notes of the 1869.

Prep.....Shower ~ Donkey milk soap
Razor....Cobra Classic, on loan from @culcreuch
Blade....Schick Proline P-30
Soap.....OSP Lavender
Brush.....Omega Italain Barber
Bowl.....Little wren pottery
Post....ASB by @neilbart (Lime B.)
Scent....Creed Sublime Vanille .......oil from Mr Perfume

One of my last shaves with this razor before I send it back home and again it didn't fail when paired with the proline to give me a superb shave, I will be sorry to see it go but live in the hope that I will shave with my own cobra before the year is out!
The OSP soap never fails to perform well which is good because I've got enough of the wonderful stuff to open an OSP outlet of my own ( not happening!) this lavender scented one is up there for me as one of the best.
Nice big boar brush and a big lathering bowl work perfectly together.
Finnished of with the Lime ASB ( on trial ) followed by a little Sublime a Vanille, perfect.

Have yourselves a happy Monday.........:)

Shave of the week.

Razor: WS Quattro
Brush: Simpsons Chubby synthetic
Soap: Cella
Post: BBA Post shave

To say I didn't rate the BBA post shave when I got it, it's now become my subconscious go to post shave. I'm thinking it's because it's different to my other balms that I didn't like it at first but it's fantastic on my skin.

Waiting for the Simpsons Classic Synthetic to come into stock at Shavelounge and I'll have a new brush.

Have a great week!

Greetings All,

Monday shave.

Two growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood shaving cream
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable
Blade: Shark SS (4th)
Brush: RazoRock 400 Noir (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Proraso Red Aftershave and Nivea Sensitive Cooling.

It was suggested I use setting 7 following my first shave on setting 5. I went with 6 and had a wonderful shave. Stuck with my trusty Shark blade and the TOBS shaving cream did not fail to deliver a wonderful thick, creamy and slick lather.

So, my week has started off very well, although I still have the tail end of man-flu and the day is grey, wet and it's that horrible drizzle, light so an umbrella is useless and penetrates EVERYWHERE. But still a good shave cannot dampen my morning. :D

Happy Monday, Chaps.

Cheers,

Brian
