I meant more on the sink or wherever it's left resting; does it not leave residue when you've put it down wet and left it?

I might give it a shot at some stage. Do people like the fact that it's black? I can see it's a good look, but then I think of the mess it would make...

I do hope to achieve a hard shaving bar at some stage, which would get rid of the need for a jar. This would save space in my house, and the planet, all in one fell swoop.

Just realised I read the ingredients carelessly and they do mention sodium cocoate and stearate. So it's a basic soap with a shed load of added ingredients. I'm wondering if it feels tacky to the touch when dry?

@ischiapp This is me lathering the cream; I may have had too much water in there, the light is awful, and OH is not the greatest photographer. But hopefully you can get the general idea. Our water is medium hard. I'm sure members here could do a better job.

I would say it's noticeably softer than my 'Original' soap if you've ever had that, and it also dissolves more easily than that did; so whereas with original if you put a blob in a bowl and lathered, sometimes bits of the soap would hide in the brush and not get lathered, this one doesn't seem...

That's great to hear NotTheStig; a very promising start to the shaving cream. I guess in an ideal world it would be in an aluminium tube, but those things are difficult to source and I imagine get pretty pricey when printing is added.
