The price point is ridiculous. It does seem a good idea. The current disposable swivel types are generally very light, no feedback etc. Some give a perfectly good shave when required. They are very user friendly, safe etc,. Expensive also!
Futur was my first DE. Fantastic engineering, however, in my case it was too aggressive to use every day, which my occupation required. If shaving every 2-3 days, it's hard to beat.
I bought loads of Super Thins years ago. Both varieties. They were buttons to buy. There was a lot of debate ref which was best. The ones most of us bought on here were pretty much indistinguishable. Later on member's said there were big differences. I suspect fakes came in.
I have a Bluetip B1 (1956)
Black Beauty 02 (1969)
Both in pretty good nick. Not getting any love. Happy to sell to a good home. Not looking for a fortune. Pics upon request
We may be at cross purposes. The OP is fairly new, never used a shavette it appears. My advice to him was, starting with a shavette may cause him to cut himself, that a straight would in fact be easier. He will have little to no technique if he's new.
To answere your questions, I've been wet...
How do you know how fast my beard grows? I've been shaving a long time, a very long time. If my beard becomes apparent after an hour or 2, after a close shave, that's just how it is. Bit cheeky chum.
