there is some merit in holding back getting rid of a razor that may seem unsuitable, revisiting in a month or two can be valuable as the initial eagerness and expectation has gone and you can get a less emotional response to the performance. i have sold stuff on in the past and regretted it...

hahaha, back on topic though, its 3 isnt it? unless you are a gung ho wally. its your face, always excercise a bit of caution! some of the worst shaves i have had are with 'mild' razors and and excess of confidence.

another shout for jovan musk, i can still detect traces the day after! that stuff has staying power, old ladies like it though which can be a pain in the arse sometimes working in a busy shop =)

i shave every other day, three shaves per blade. could get more out of some brands but not worth the risk of a shoddy shave. the performance obviously changes with each shave but not enough to cause concern.

i have never had any bother with shills on ebay.fr, but like darkbulb i use a sniper tool that just bids my max a few seconds before the end of the lot. win some,lose some but no surprises =)

fitted it into the handle and it looked great but when i tried it....dissapointment. i think its due to me setting it like a natural knot, a little deeper than this really needs. whipped up a lather great but looked like a kids paintbrush! i have taken it out and will keep it for another project.

dont know yet, hopefully get it mounted tomorrow. it feels great, i am quite surprised at the softness. i have a 15-20mm gap to bridge from the iside of the handle to where i want the knot to sit so i will have to perform some jiggery pokery =)
