Nice boat Mr.Magnus! I love trolling for Pike, but I don't get much chance these days. You're sure to have some fun on that beast! Do you have a name for her yet?

    razor bank

Never used this firm before, but I bought a load of these from eBay from a seller who no longer seems to be registered. http://cavemangrooming.co.uk/feather-blade-disposal-bank At £7 though, it seems very steep to me. And a tin from thr pound shop like Major Tom suggests would be a better bet...

    Proraso Offer

I deliberately took time off from visiting this site because of the blatant enablism. I'm back for five minutes and I've spent £15 already. Great spot though! Well worth the money, especially with the July20 code.

OK, so what is this lot going to fetch?

That's easily gonna' roll past the £250 mark I reckon. It's a ready-made collection to someone with the readies, or a good profit margin to a reseller.

    FS: Simpsons Emperor 3 & Extras *** SOLD ***

FS: Simpsons Emperor 3 Super & Extras If I didn't have a Tubby on the way from Fido right now I would've had this. Not that anyone needs to be swayed in their decision to buy this, but I can vouch for Roefisher; having bought various items from him on this forum and BCUK before now. A...

    Clem Brush Restoration

For a while I've had this butterscotch brush which I've been meaning to restore. I'm not sure of its maker or origin as the name 'Clem' doesn't appear in any shaving forum or web page but, to my mind at least, it looks a bit Simpsons-esque and for that reason I thought I'd have a punt and try my...

Would you pay £140 for a Fatboy??

I see a similar thing with the top-end razors, but it has been cyclic over the past few years. Generally I find that razors on ebay go for more in winter than in summer, but supply and demand obviously has an impact. At the moment there are no British Aristocrats advertised as such on ebay...

    Sputniks...

Given all the hype about Rapira Swedish and the Voskhod, I expected to rate Sputniks somewhere between the Ladas and the Rapira Teflon. In reality, the Sputniks outshone all the other blades in terms of performance and longevity and will be the only blade I buy from the sample pack from Unuta77...

    slim adjustable help

'Boil it to buggery' would be my usual advice, but in this case where you may have a more sensitive mechanism not to mention the numbering on the bevel, I'd agree with the Count. Maybe dropping it in bicarbonate of soda and water may penetrate it sufficiently to free it off?

    Homebrewing?

I've been following this thread with interest, and I've just had a bit of a dabble myself by adding 15ml of Pinus Sylvestris essential oil to 85ml of witch hazel. At the moment, it's quite refreshing, but a little too subtle for my liking. I'm thinking a few drops of lavender may help balance it...
