After a hot sweaty morning cleaning the pool and replacing some screens that got blown out the other day I was ready to cool off. Some Stirling soap and AS did the trick. Used a Stahly head on a Windrose handle, Polsilver blade and perfection resulted. I'm hoping everyone else had a great shave...

I went with a different handle the other day and I really like the balance and handling of this match. Somehow it looks and feels great!

You need to use a light hand with this. I don't know what you use normally but you need to watch the pressure here. That's the beauty of the thing, I don't feel like I need pressure to get a smooth cut.

Second day with the OC and as I thought even better than yesterday. First date jitters and all. I love the way it balances with this handle, a real race car now! A two pass near BBS shave. No nicks and no irritation 10 minutes start to finish before work, out the door on time. Like @Clint64 said...

I had my first run with this razor today and was relieved that it is not as aggressive as it looks. Quite the opposite in fact. Using a Polsilver blade and some Razorock XXX the shave was smooth and comfortable and like the others said I could feel the blade but it wasn't too much. Pretty much...

Thanks! I was surprised at just how nice the head actually looks in person! Tomorrow I'll be using a Polsilver blade since it's my go to and the Maggards handle because it offers nice control. I'm looking forward to the shave! :)

I received mine today but am having trouble choosing a handle..... #1 Maggards MR20, not the best looking but very comfortable to use. Next is the Mongoose "Ginger Swirl ", has some heft and does look nice.. This is a Jurgen Hempel UFO... Best looking for sure and a comfortable one...
