I use soaps, exclusively I prefer soaps because they come in simple and biodegradable containers. Well, most of them, or at least the ones I have. In my opinion it is not worth the extra time & effort of loading soap. Creams are much easier to work with and give more consistent results.

Feather blades are fantastic for me and they would be favorite if they would last a bit longer. I only get two or three shaves from a Feather, before it goes down. And when that happens it gives me nicks. Perma-Sharps are not as sharp as Feathers, in my opinion, but they last at least 6 shaves...
