First shave with the fatboy, a Gillette Silver Blue blade and 36h worth of stubble. Started on setting 2, quickly dialed up to setting 4. The shave was okay as I need to figure out the best angle to use it.

The fatboy arrived today in Germany.

I use Humphrey's Witchhazel and I am very happy with it.

I kinda like it. most of the time the gel is great on its own, sometimes with a more agressive shave, I also use a moisterising cream after a few minutes on top of that. I use a witch hazel product before the gel too.

I did not know Wickham in the time you mentioned, I can only judge from what I see at the moment. It is not only this special company but everyone that has established itself with certain values. Customers that like these values might/ will loose faith with that company, once they drop them.
