Argan Oil hair conditioner used as pre-shave

I never thought of using Argan Oil in my shave routine, my missus uses it all the time! This place is great for picking up tips. I normally avoid using pre-shave oil as I find that it clogs up my brushes - does this happen with Argan oil?

You wont get it in those Stores...SAVERS...There is a Pic just above..:D

I just realised that your picture is hair oil. In that case I wonder if this will do? Tesco selling for a quid

Bugger it, if you're using hair treatment on yer face so will I!

"What could possibly go wrong?"
Argan Oil gets Used in Womens Hair because it Penetrates the Hair & Softens & Restores Damaged Hair by Blow Drying & Using Hot Tongs...That's Why its a Great Pre Shave Oil..It Penetrates the Hair because its so Thin..Mens Pre Shave Oils are Crap..You Only Need the Smallest Amount..1/4 Pea Size..:D

One big commercial body soap maker in the USA is using aragan oil in one of their soap lines. I have used their liquid hand soap and must admit that aragan oil has a strange scent. It's not entirely repulsive nor entirely pleasing IMO. It's just.....different. o_O

My first time trying argan oil @Fergiebilly I don't think I put enough on as didn't notice a massive difference! Will look to put a little more on next time... I'm tempted to mix it with a carrier oil though as I'm not sure it will last too long if I use any more than I did last time and at £6.50 for 60ml it isn't the cheapest... Any suggestions anyone? (I have sweet almond oil)http://www.akomaskincare.co.uk/oils/carrier-oils-organic-a-z/argan-moroccan-oil.html

@Burgundy, do you mix it with anything or just use it pure? What do you find gives you the best result?

I got the treatment oil which isn't 100% Argan so technically "pre-diluted" with a carrier oil. I can take a look what oils are in there when I can home from work. Nice thing being it was only £1 though.

I know the £1 shaving oil from supermarkets (Nugen?) is mostly sunflower oil and that works a treat in terms of smooth shave, I used to use only that (no soaps) with cartridge razors and had no burn.

That would be great. Thanks Mark!
