Astra Superior Stainless

I generally get a better shave with this over the green Astra Superior Platinum blade per my experiences. It just seems to shave a tad smoother, although for me Astra blades are razor specific. For those who like the green one I recommend you try the blue one at least once in your favorite razors to compare. Please, let us not go off topic about the green Astra Superior Platinum as there are already multiple threads in the archives on that one.

Agree.

I found the Astra SS to be a touch sharper than the SP and I found the SS took a few shaves to 'be broken in' before it really smoothed out and after than I got a lot of great shaves from the one blade.

For my needs anyway I like it as much my favourite PPI blades of Nacet, Polsilver SI, Permsharp SS

I also found that Astra SS works better for me than the SP. Nothing wrong with the SP but the SS gives me better results.

For my personal experience, the Astra Superior Stainless works best in combination with more aggressive razors. This blade is my first choice for my Fatip Grande or my MÜHLE R41
