Best shaves yet-Myrsol Emusion

Glad to hear that Myrsol Emulsion is so good...I ordered my first bottle just before joining this forum but intended to use it just as a post shave...I'll have to try it pre-shave too. I often use GFT Lime Skin Food as a pre and post shave and it is exceptional stuff, so much so that I'm thinking about getting one of their big 500ml bottles with pump!
 
The Myrsol is so goodly that the original maker used to shave with it Greyster. He also insisted that shaving should only be done with the grain. Got to say that photos of him in his nineties give me hope ! And yes, I'm another emulsion fan both pre and post.

Is there much scent to the Emulsion? I usually use Proraso but the mint and eucalyptus doesn't match well with a lot of soaps. A completely neutral smelling pre-shave would be much better I think.
 
It's got a faint soapy, fresh, barbershop fragrance to me. One which I wish lasted longer than the 2 or 3 minutes it does. I can't see it having the strength or longevity for you to notice it much. Certainly shouldn't interfere much with shaving soap or aftershave scents.
