blade storage

For bulk orders a metal tin with silica bits to capture moisture, for blades in regular rotation a small plastic waterproof container and for used blades pirate themed metal money box from a pound shop arrr :)

Because unbinned razor blades thrown into a landfill can injure animals and the people working there.

Yes and I would not like to see my wife cut by an old razor blade when I make her put the bins out each week.

But joking aside if left loose in a bin bag they are a hazard to anyone who has to handle that waste.

If you live in the UK B&M bargains do a large money tin which you have to open with a can opener which is perfect. They come in different designs too. Off the top of my head they are a quid. It'd take ten years to fill one. Easy to dispose of too once full.

A tin is good for used blades. I got a plain one for my blades. My concern with these were that my young son has them as money boxes. Although stored on a high shelf I was still conscious of not picking one my son might be attracted to.

When I first started this thread I asked about a container for new blades. This was due to the fact at that point the only blades I had were in a card box that the blades fell out from in transit. Since then I have got some in the plastic holders described earlier in the thread. These are much better at keeping things together. I can now keep a few packs of these in my tobacco tin and this seems to work for me
