Chinese futur clone

Since I haven't even received my Nanjie which was due yesterday, I asked for a full refund that I got instantly. Oddly enough, in the message in my Ebay account inbox, the photo appearing in the transaction was the one of the Futur clone...

That's because it was the photo at the time of purchase. The photo for the listing itself would have changed now, as we've noted previously. The one thing I can't find fault with, with 'talkquikly' at least, is the speed at which the refund was issued. It paid for half of my 2nd Futur copy so I'm happy with that!

I'll probably do a @shaunwistow and amend the box of the Nanjie to fit the QShave, if/when it arrives.
 
2nd shave this morning with the Qshave: I'm still in a fine-tuning phase trying to approach the settings I used on my Progress/Digress, but this razor is tip top. The mildness added to the (Merkur) design of the head make it the perfect razor for me.

Totally agree. So good I'm ordering another as a spare.

Mine is only on 2 and I get a fantastic shave. I've tried a Lab blue and one of the Personna that came with it. Far better for me than a Progress.

My Progress setting was 1.75, so far the closest Qshave setting is between 2 and 2.25, the blade might slightly influence the settings as well.

My second Qshave is on its way too. :D

Mine arrived yesterday (disguised as a Nanjie), I ordered on 24-Apr. I asked the eBay question "I received an item that wasn't as described" asking for a full refund (inc. p&p) and got it the next day.
Not too strenuous.

Otherwise, I managed to access the Futur patent, and took a screenshot (8 pages of German describing the device and 2 with technical drawings, mainly sections):

I've just received a message from the Nanjie ring Ebay seller asking (begging) me to leave a positive evaluation. Apparently the Nanjie is stuck in the (British?) customs. Am I bound in any way to do so? Honestly, I was just going to leave my evaluation blank.

Because i was highly dissapointed with ordering a Qshave Futur clone from 'talkquikly' on Ebay, which like everyone else..was not a Futur clone in the slightest!, anyway the refund i got back from 'talkquikly', i've added the extra money and ordered a one from Ali express..i suppose it's contradictory on my behalf, i bought the one from Ebay because it looked good and it was cheap,.but after reading the Comments and reviews on the Ali express one, i've decided to give it another try..I hope this one doesn't bite me in the arse again, if it does it's my own stupid fault...Anyway it hasn't cost me a great fortune..I look forward to shaving with it.

The Qshave razors from Ali are the real thing (I mean the real Ming Shi/Qshave of course, not the Futur :D). Don't worry, The tracking is pretty much accurate too. The sellers from Ali get paid only when you confirm the delivery of the item.

I had the same. I rated them neutral because a bad experience had been resolved. I gave them 3 stars which is "neither good nor bad".
I couldn't leave positive feedback as this would mislead future buyers. The whole thing was sorted but was a waste of time.
Many lessons learnt.

Thank you, that's very reassuring..i'm not a paranoid android..but after the 'talkquikly' ebay order, i'll be honest i wasn't going to bother..but reading the comments, and your confirmation..i'll have faith & reassurance in Ali express from now on, and the distant Futur :D.Regards.
 
If it makes people feel better, I've had the full refund (sans razor) from 'talkquikly' and ordered two 'Futur' from QShave through AliExpress directly. Tracking has been good, communications have been fair, item well packaged and all-up in good order! Would strongly advise those considering to go through AliExpress. There's no option for PayPal payments but that's in favour of a 60-day money back guarantee through AE. Plus, as Cristobal stated above, the sellers don't get paid until it is confirmed delivered.

I'm at ease now..Ebay should have the same trading/seller conditions, it would save alot of problems for buyers..,and reduce dubious misleading sellers.
