What about one for the ladies? The Nymph (always wanted a 'nymph' just didn't envisage this):

Mrs Gairdner, who is thus far most impressed at the massive saving to be had on blades, has enquired about the possibility of a ladies razor that could use DE blades. That is the reason for me discovering the above razor. Well, you could believe that or.......:icon_redface:

Eclipse Red Ring, not the best shave in the world, but I like the design.

That's lovely Dave, another to add to my ever growing list, cheers:s

Thanks for those. The Wallbusch does look great. In fact I painted the nob on my Progress black after seeing this pic. Didn't do the head though. From a distance my efforts look good but close up... hmmm...

What has become of me? My electric shaver breaks... so I decide to give this DE shaving a go... get myself a rather tasty EJ DE89 (with which I am well pleased).
Now I find I'm lusting after razor porn like this lot....

Where will it end?

Fantastic razors there jamie...

Ha ha sorry about the Leresche just beware it may be a while before one appears for sale (now i've said it one or two might appear on the bay) i have seen probably 10 times more double rings come up for sale in the last 12 months than these they are rarely seen and highly prized....

I have this razor that I think is pretty cool
It has a telescopic handle that just slides in and out as per the two pictures
It is stamped 'Made in Germany' on the base plate and has HW on the end of the handle.
Other than that I know very little about it.

Shworely, the king of the cool wall is the Gillette Slim Twist from 1964, Bond's razor in Goldfinger? :)

I have to admit I have a soft spot for the slim twist above, which was my first ever shave (my Dad's razor, back in the late 1970s) and was the razor I bought for under a fiver to see if I'd like DE shaving, I do :)

Sorry guys, I have to say the coolest of the cool (in my admittedly humble & inexperienced opinion) has to be the Black Beauty:

I mean look at her - isn't she just the most beautiful thing ever to grace a bathroom?

Not just looks either - perfectly balanced (that sexy long handle makes all the difference), mild, even for an adjustable, so very forgiving - beautiful results.

...and yes, I finally just got one...

I may have overlooked it, but isn't there a hard rule for the cool wall?
That is, 'Would Kristin Scott Thomas Think This Is A Cool Car'?
Or something more or less the same?

In that tradition, wouldn't it make sense to have a similar criterion?
