    Experimenting with inlays and end caps, so I recycle what is available.
    The first experiment with inlays in camel bone

    Time now to try the same with MOP. Due to costs I chose the path of recycling older projects
    The "volunteer" more than happy to participate

    Might end a bit tight to accommodate the blade but it looks promising

    To avoid any accusation of sacrilege, this is not restoring but experimenting. Any resemblance with collector items is purely accidental.

    new MOP scales, almost finished (pinning the second scale and inlaying left to be finalized)

    the difference between freshwater (scales no 2) and standard white / silver mop (scales no 1 - that got inlayed shields) as we know it
