Fragrance free shave cream?

MT Pots of Milk is an excellent suggestion. My favourite of all the Meissners. @Paul at Connaught offers samples http://connaughtshaving.com/mtsp200.html Alternatively, for more and other samples, have a look at Jim's offerings of samples at Shavedash.com, out of

Believe Kerry @phoenixandbeau also had an unscented option, but not listed currently.

Across the pond (with economy shipping at Maggards) you can find Declaration Grooming and surely others http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/ll-grooming-co-unscented-premium-bison-tallow-shaving-soap-4oz/

For the ultimate face feel (IMO), go with Mike's Natural unscented. Unfortunately only available directly from artisan, which entails higher postage.

Edit: oh, I forgot about Mystic Water's unscented sensitive https://www.mystic4men.com/ A little more finicky to lather, but once you nail that down, you're rewarded with the ultimate post shave feel. Again, only available direct from artisan in US, thus higher postage.

Wickham Soap Company does an unscented version of their excellent soaps. I haven't used it, as I went with their fragranced versions. But I can imagine that the unscented version will perform in the same way as their fragranced version, (which is outstandingly).

The soap maker and owner of Wickham Soap company visits this forum, so I will tag him, and he might be able to help you further. @Fox

Wickham also does an unscented post shave soothing balm to. I have the fragranced versions of their balm, and they are truly outstanding and easily the best I've used.

In the mean time, here's the ingredients list of the unscented soap.

Here's the ingredients list:

Potassium Stearate, Aqua, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Cocoa Butterate, Sodium Palmate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sodium Avocadate, White Kaolin, Allantoin, Glycerine.

Good mention of Darron's unscented above, which made me think of asking whether OP has checked if any skin difference with tallow vs vegan? Or is it purely about FOs/EOs for you?

Our unscented tallow shaving soap unfortunately never sold well enough to hold in permanent stock, sorry. We might add an unscented to our organic vegan range that we'll be releasing in a smaller 2oz / 60g format, no promises, mind.

Kind regards,

Kerry.

Seriously impressed with all the feedback and knowledge guys :)
However, I may not require unscented / fragrance free......... Been having fairly good results with the couple of creams (both scented) after cutting down my shaving routine.... so fingers crossed i'll be able to use lovely smelling supplies after all

Yep, we all seem to come here, after years of shaving with multi-blade cartridges, and thinking we have ultra sensitive skin.

Then we work out we haven't and it was just irritated by using crap, especially with cans of goo.

Now, if i could actually improve my poor sense of smell, I could really enjoy all the soaps and creams I've bought in the last 3 months! :) My skin feels heaps better though.

Cheers, John

Yes this is true, I do make an unscented that is very popular. Unfortunately I have not been successful in convincing all stockists to stock it, so you may need to email them first just to check.

I also make a Unscented balm and face soap, this is all part of the 1912 range.

HTH :)
