I just looked at a few websites for the Gillette 7 o'clock super platinum (black pack) and I couldn't find any. Are these no longer available?

Drop in the value of the £ may have something to do with this. In any case, I find them wonderful blades and definitely worth the asking price.

These on eBay (from India) don't seem too badly priced for 70, and they fall below the UK VAT/Import Charge threshold.

Good blades. I bought a batch and liked them. Hard to find where I live so end up using the yellow 7 0'Clocks more often along with Feathers which are easily procured as well.

I recently bought two of these blades as it's been maybe three years since I first used one. Then, I thought they were a tad rough, but sharp. However, to be frank since I was learning my technique then it may have been more user error. I say that as I used one today and it gave a stellar shave.

How ironic in that by fate I chose to use my last one of these today that I have had for a year and discovered this year old post in a search. In a Schick Krona coupled with Arko soap I received a spectacular shave. Not enough to go bonkers and order a 100 mind you, but perhaps another 5 - 7 pack.
