Gillette Nacets or Gillette Rubies, which do you prefer?

If 3p extra a blade is too much to bear, that's about 1p a shave for most users don't buy them , all the more for me, thanks. J C on a bike!

But they are not 3p a blade more, because there are no stock at £16.99 and when there is stock there is no guarantee that they will still be £16.99 in these turbulent times, which doesn't include the postage anyway, and you can't pre order at £16.99 because it doesn't work, plus no timescale when they may be back in stock, so my original assertion that for £20 plus for a 100, I can't see me ordering them over the nacets is correct,

If they were 3p a blade more, then I would reconsider it, but currently they are 100% more, there is no point in comparing the price of nacets price at gemstone, because I never bought the nacets at gemstone,
That is not winging at the price, just that the rubies lack value over the nacets currently, that may or may not change, they may be worth the extra or they may not, I don't know because I never tried them,

It's not all the more for you, because you can't order them either, because they are out of stock.

Pre order and you get them at that price £16.99 when ever they come back in stock, that's what a pre order is all about. If you don't like the price don't buy, simple!

When you have tried them come back to me and you will be able to comment on how good they are or not but until then you have nothing to say apart from they cost more than nacets, well that was never in question. So what is your point? Pre order does work, how does it not?

Which I said in my first post, in which you took exception too, my point was and still is that they are currently twice the price, you got arsey about it not me, for reasons that I have no idea, you could have said they are worth the extra, but no, you got all defensive over them,

Pre order doesn't work, when you attempt to buy it just says there is not enough stock to fulfil the order, there is no option to then pre order, though it tells you that you can pre order, not on my iPad anyway.

Pre order doesn't work, I tried and for me it doesn't work.
I am not going to bite and argue the toss with you , I will just simply say that just because something is out of stock it is ridiculous to say therefore the price is no longer valid, you can hunt around and find the most expensive vendor to try and prove your point but the fact stands that they are £16.99 at gemstone and I suspect they will be the same price when back in stock, it matters not to me if they are out of stock at the moment because I have a stock of my own so I will wait untill they are back in stock, I will know more later when Gemstone reply to my email asking about price and restock times.
I'm sure you will want to reply to this, you strike me as the kind of person who likes to have the last word, I look forward to your reply.
I may even let you have the last word but I'm not promising anything.

Just for anyone who is interested, you can pre order Gillette rubies at Gemstone trading at the pre order price of £16.99 for 100 blades.
I have just done this on my iPad with no problems at all.
They aim to ship on the 15th November, with a p&p charge of £1.09 to the UK. So a total of £18.08p a very good lock down price for the quality blade that you are getting. :)

I said everything I needed to say in the first post, they may indeed turn out to be £16.99 plus postage, that wasn't the issue, the cheapest vendor that have stock are over £20, so my original post is still correct, and as far as I am concerned still relevant to anyone interested in purchasing the rubie blades, if anyone knows a cheaper supplier speak up, i would be interested in gemstones reply,
I wasn't trying to be funny, I would like to try the rubies.

You can't lose with that, Paul; well sourced.
Thank you, a good price I thought and not long to wait! I can't find anywhere cheaper than £16.99 plus £1.09 postage, well pleased.
The Russians don't like to let too many of these blades out and after having used them I can see why! Fantastically smooth, I really did look down at my razor to see if there was a blade in it, well worth the extra rubles !! :)

They now seem to be saying they are expected 15th November, and I can now pre order, so I have ordered a 100, I did email them and ask, but I won't be able to pick any emails up until work tomorrow, thanks
