Nanny's Silly Soap is a top notch performer and her " Down Home Summer " is, to my nose, a truly strong, down and dirty vetiver. Allied to something like Fine vetiver you're likely to become known as the guy who scared Indiana Jones. Not for metrosexuals !

Geo. F Trumper's Eucris should fit the bill -- the cream is better than the soap, which is quite tame by comparison (I'm told).
+1
Avoid the hard soap variant, impossible to get a decent lather.
I believe Ian Fleming wrote Bond as wearing Eucris, a real old school in your face scent.

As others have mentioned, P&B Spitfire is where it's at. I could also recommend some heavier scents from Barrister & Mann like Night Music for the sexy or Hallows for the creepy. You might also like Diamond and Petrichor, I didn't like them much, but fit the description and are still available at Maggards.

'Fraid the fictional Bond wore no hair dressing or aftershave. The mention of Eucris is in a bathroom he is shown into and more probably refers to the Eucris hair oil which Mr. Fleming himself wore from his teens. I do agree the differently scented Eucris shaving soap is an absolute stonker !
