Hello all, my name is Mark and I currently live in Scotland.
I first purchased a Dovo shavette as I wanted the feel of shaving with an open razor but didn't want to fork out the cash in case I didn't like it, after using my shavette for a while I decided to take the plunge and I purchased a Dovo Ebenholz which I must say feels great to shave with, the extra length and weight felt a little weird at first but now after a couple of shaves it's beginning to feel very natural.
I have been doing a lot of reading and research into stropping; boy I had no idea the work needed to keep your razor in tip top condition but I have to say I do enjoy it, practicing stropping very slowly and technique perfection, I'll get there one day.
I'm really glad I've bitten the bullet and got myself a straight and joined this great community I've learnt so much from as a guest viewing other people's posts, it was definitely time to sign up and introduce myself.
I hope to speak to many of you along my straight razor journey and gain knowledge from all of your experiences.
