How do you dispose of used blades

I have the good fortune to be diabetic, and as such, I get a 'sharps box' for my old syringes. It's also good for disposing razor blades!

The same here, mine is twice bigger.:D
The container is provided and replaced by the Council for free (call the recycling department).
I'm sure that the recycling department would be happy to give wet shavers a container.
It took me 2 years to fill it (about 4-5 litres) with needles (for pens), so it's safe to assume that 10 years or more would be necessary to fill it with DE blades...
It's ugly, but at least no one will be harmed during the recycling process (actually it's incinerated).
