July 2017 Acquisitions

Going to say the same as I have said on another forum.

Cheers for all the birthday messages. Had a bloody good day, rounded off with drinks with my Scouting buddies. Scouting is a big part of my life and tonight was mainly a planning meeting to decide what we were doing until Christmas. But my kind scouting friends provided drinks and cake. Japanese Suntour Whisky I can confirm is very good ! Going to bed a happy man.

One more happy birthday.
What in particular do you like about the Suntour?

Sorry my spelling was out Suntory.

I must admit from the start I know very little about Whiskey. But I've tried a fair few, a few blended and a few single malts. It's not usually my first choice and I find most very harsh. But this was a different experience. It was the 17 year old version. What I liked was the sweeter taste combined with a smokey scent. I suppose what prompted me to taste too was it being Japanese, and I'm always up for something different.
