Luxury shaving cream?

Hi

I'm visiting the UK next week and want to treat myself to a luxury shaving cream.

Any suggestions?

I'm presently using Truefitt & Hill Sandlewood shaving cream and do like it, but at the same time happy to sample another luxury shaving cream. I do prefer creams over soap, just because I like to get a lather quicker.

Thanks!

If you can PM me an address where you are staying you can have the tub of my unused BBA shaving cream. I will also include a sample of my own upcoming Super Smooth V2. :)

Made in the UK by Creightons, they make cream soaps for the likes of Truefit, Trumpers and many others. St James though is one of their own brands.

Creightons have sold the St James brand to the former US distributor of T&H. One or two of the three T's also no longer have their products made by Creightons. They appear to be moving more to cosmetics.

Far as I know, Penhaligons creams are still excellent. Can't speak about the soaps with various incarnations happening over the years and how they are now.

To me the price justifies the product if you like the frags. There's a bunch to choose from, with Blenheim maybe being most popular. Performance in general is a step above most other creams and once again if you like the scent you'll be real happy.

Interesting because I also read they sold their "The Real Shave" brand last year and have invested more into their Potter and Moore research facility in Dorset. So what you say now makes sense. I wonder who are making the cream soap for the T/T's who moved?

Thank you for the info. :)
