March 2018 Acquisitions

For once I didn't buy anything!!!

Popped to my grandma's tonight on my way home and lo and behold my uncle whilst clearing a cupboard found an old grooming set belonging to my granddad. My grandad was known for keeping things, but after a few years since he passed I gave up on ever owning anything belonging to either of my grandfathers. My week has been made by this little find. I already have a Tech but now I have my grandfathers Tech, judging from the blade it's late 60's. Blade is sealed and looks in good nick so I'll be giving both a whirl on Monday. Sadly no brush or soap in the tubes, I'll try and clean the insides out to store a stick or two, they look a bit grubby internally.

Now if only he can dig a little deeper and find some Fat Boys or Slims!!!

Very much looking forward to comparing the Guerlain's, Bvlgari and MiP EDT to MiP EDP which I currently own! Valentino Uomo Intense is often likened to Dior Homme which gets a lot of praise (though, so does the Valentino). Dunhill Icon has also piqued my interests so got me some of that, too! :D

My late Father-in-law used that soap, I used to love it. I didn't realise Gemstone carried it - I must go and have a look.
