I started work as an apprentice Toolmaker at 16, covering all aspects of machining, plus mould Tools, Press Tools & high speed equipment builds. After around 12 years, I transferred to our International Engineering, whereby I provided manufacturing support to our overseas factories. In the first 15 years, I provided support to the Packaging & Assembly side of the business, until I transferred to take charge of our blades group, which covered all blade processing from Perforation, Hardening, Sharpening & treatment.
My group was also providing engineering start up support to new global factories,facilities, we were involved in the likes of new start ups in India, China, Czech Republic, Russia, Pakistan, Poland, Mexico & Vietnam.in addition to those countries I have worked in Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Colombia, Venezuela, Germany, USA, Kenya, Morocco, Egypt, France, plus a few more that I forget.
My area of expertise is Double Edge, but naturally I have in-depth knowledge on Single edge products.
