That would be awesome and they should do it, I think most of us who love General would rather buy one more colonial GEM style razor than just collect General in various of materials 
After GEM they could even try injector style , gotta catch em all!

I doubt that I'd be interested. Unless it's made from sheet metal, not stainless steel. A slightly modernised 1912 would interest me.Brothers from Colonial Razors just tweet this. What do you think?

It really is a joy to use a proper lather catcher - one which the blade does not clog and the scroll collects the lather. One pass, no rinsing. Lovely. It comes from an era when chaps did not have running water to shave with ... long gone and utterly pointless today, but indeed lovely to use.

Well, if the alu is successful, they will go on and produce a brass and SS. So, no point in getting the alu, as if it's a hit they will go on with the SS. If it's not a hit, why buy the alu?

I would rather like to see a modern version of the Star Kampfe Bros. Lather Catcher with long handle than the GEM.

That is the only true lather catcher that I've kept ...
Sure, I have GEM Juniors and 1914s (Little Lather Catchers), but that's the one true lather catcher I have.
One that got away was a BHV, a French one which I rather regret letting go.
