I asked Fatip to buy a top cap from them because the one on my Testina Gentile had its gold finish chipping after couple of uses. Obviously a dud because the Grande has zero issues with its finish after hundreds of shaves. They told me they will replace the whole razor and then they just ignored me. That's how Italians do customer service. Loving it.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Have you tried to reach them again? I had the same issue with my piccolo se which top cap started discoloring after one month. They replaced mine with a brand new onw like 4 like.
