My only experience has been with OSP lavender, and I didn't rate the scent at all.

It is good soap.
I've had Bay Rum for around 2 weeks. My wife was telling me how she was thinking of reporting the neighbour for growing cannabis, as she can always smell it from the bathroom. Turns out it was my OSP Bay Rum.

Not sure which is worse, that fact her sense of smell is clearly off, or that she is a potential grass [emoji23]

I'd rate the scent strength at around 7/10 (not very objective, but I have a poor nose!). I followed it immediately with the matching after shave, so can't comment on how long it hangs around. My daughter is my resident 'smellometer' and she rates the scent as a 'solid 8' in quality/appeal. She's quite discerning.

Seems like your daughter has great taste in soap!

I like OSP soap too: fougere and barbershop especially. Just steer clear of his Shogun shaving cream. It burned the f**k out of my face and the bloke I traded it off too as well. Only criticism is I don't find the OSP guy as nice to deal with as say Darren at Wickhams. He was a bit off when I complained about the cream. I will still buy more of his soap though.

Maybe the combined aroma of OSP, Tabac, Vitos, and 2 versions of saponificio varesino I had in the bathroom were what caused it, or more likely she's just a mentalist [emoji23]

I did get her to sniff Bay Rum, and she said YES, (that's) it.

I ordered some fougere tonic from James and enclosed was a little tub of of D'Ardenn. A very nice touch from James and a sublime new scent, maybe?

D'Ardenne, Bell & Short is the OSP 'subsidiary' - it's essentially a newer, vegan line of soap. I know @nolisco is au fait with the 'Kyoto' scented one.

They are very good soaps much like the original OSP, im not sure if they are sold anymore. Can't find Kyoto anywhere (dont say Japan ). The difference between these I think is the OSP soaps use natural scent products and these use synthetic? I could be wrong though. I absolutely love the Kyoto, tried Coconut and Persian as well.. Hope the Kyoto is produced again, absolutely love that soap

It looks like there's no more production from @OSP for the DB&S soaps, it's been omitted from the OSP website... that being said, there's still some stock at 'The English Shaving Company's website, though unfortunately no Kyoto!
