This is incredible - I'm certainly not at a level to confidently say I'd want to get in on this immediately but I will probably re-approach this in the near future! Just think of this as a heads up! Diolch. :)

@matteob Ydw, wi'n Gymraeg ;) Ah, I can see the confusion now - never thought of it before. The names I've used previously to play computer games have been Benjour (which resulted in people thinking I'm French) and, more recently, Benz3ne (in homage to chemistry, which I studied at university)! I may look into putting my name down - I'll give people a chance to have fun with the goodies-box before I lay my mitts on it, however!

Bennyboy there is only one person after haggerd so you won't be depriving anyone! I used to go to University in the back of beyond at a place called Lampeter so I know Wales well. I never picked up the lingo though. I don't think the locals encouraged it. There is a good cop detective show on s4c based in Aber though but thank goodness for the subs.

Ooh, well quite possibly then. I'll let Haggard have as long as he needs with it though before piping up again! Lampeter is really out in the sticks! I'm down Swansea, so less Welsh being spoke but more happening here, I guess! I don't know the lingo well, unfortunately, but I will learn one day. Hinterland - a fantastic show in my opinion... definitely better than the likes of Pobl y cwm, of which my dad is an avid fan...

Back on topic: I'll wait in the wings for the time being and pipe up when I've had more than 2 shaves! I've some P&B Sanskrit on the way so will try that on for size first!

I would definitely recommend getting a good safety razor as well for touching up or when you have not got the time. I use a Parker 24c every day. A nice looking, very efficient yet gentle safety razor from India. Yours for £18 all in here. It's a bit more efficient than the Edwin Jagger DE89 which was my first safety but that is a fantastic razor too. I am a left hander but have had no real issues with a straight but it does take time. I can get a barber shop shave in about 10 mins with the 24c and a decent blade.

For the time being, at least, I'm using the straight razor as a shaping instrument rather than to completely clean-shave. It does look nice but I think the starting plan for me is to continue to hone my skill shaping my beard then look at doing some clean shaves every once in a while! Thanks for the heads up though, it does look nice and I'm certain it does the trick for those who need it! I'll bear in mind when I get round to doing full-shaves more often!

I've been away for far to long, sorry folks I got a bit preocupied, the box is ready to move on, @Benz3ne pm me your address and I'll get it shipped off to you ASAP, there is also another newbie that would like to be added to the list, we seem to have two threads on this topic which is a bit confusing
