One Blade Core

If you are going to insult someone at least learn how to spell, Einstein. ;)

So now we're picking fly shite out of pepper...

I'm glad you know how it's spelled [or is it 'spelt', knowing you are the grammarian you are?] (and thanks for the correction), but you might wish to acquaint yourself with how your use of it is a logical fallacy, and generally the last resort of a losing argument.

I didn't contemplate spending the large amount required for the stainless OneBlade, and this version ( I suppose it could be described as ersatz ) at least removes that consideration.

However, I'm not too keen on the "one blade" restriction, not least for the cost of them, although I do buy and use them in my Valets. If I do go for a razor type with limited blade range, then it'll be the forthcoming Gem types, for which I already have ample blade stocks (Natural Angle etc. ).

First thing, I'm a big One Blade fan, I own the V2 model and have ordered the plastic version for traveling. It seems that this razor creates quite a lot of emotional reactions. For example their seems to be a bit of an obsession with the effects of dropping it on the bathroom floor, do people make a habit of dropping their razors? Like any other item it may or may not break if you drop it.
The cost of blades is a bit of a non argument, I now use mine exclusively and the cost of blades is less than £50 a year. Thats shaving four times a week and using each blade twice.
As someone said earlier, it's just a razor. If you don't like it then don't buy it.

As we all have acquired a proper shaving technique over the years, I do find it strange that no one has brought to our attention that there are DE razors out there that will perform the same task as the OB with the same carefree and speedy manner of shaving. For example, I do get a better shave with my Rockwell 6S on plate 6, using the same speed and attention as I| do with the OB. The difference is that the 6S is way smoother and more efficient. I don't claim that I can do the same using the R41, but we all have favourites that beat the OB every single time on every respect.
Now for about twice the price tag of the polymer OB one can get the SS 6S or the soon to be released model T which will shave the same as 6S. As far as travelling is concerned I would sooner buy a Schick injector that can be had for much cheaper and use blades that will last a lot longer than the dedicated Feather and I will not care if it's stolen or go missing.

For a care-free BBS, nothing beats my R89.
