Today was another shave with the Valet Autostrop C2 razor. Yesterday I used an old Gillette Valet blade with it and it was okay but really not the sharpest blade I've ever used. Today I used a despined GEM blade with enlarged notches at the top and the result was simply fantastic. I'm amazed how well the gold wash has held up on this one.

They sold the "B" series as being adjustable and you can change the blade gap by moving the blade slight further back but only at the risk of moving it out of the blade stops which can get exciting.
