Opinions about Epsilon Horse Brush w. 27mm knot & 50mm loft

As I said as well in my previous post, if you want a really good horse brush without the need of taking special care & problems with tangling issues, grab a Zenith horse instead of vielong ones from yourshaving.com shop... You won't be disappointed for sure!

Many thanks for your recommendation. I'm really happy with my Zenith horse shaving brush. A really good choice.

Thanks, happy to see that you had a good experience with it! One day I'll write a small review about them, I think that they should be more popular, specially for horses brush lovers or for those guys who simply want another reliable & relatively cheap option to boars (and more animal friendly, because as you know horses are not harmed in the process)

I discovered the white horse hair brushes from Epsilon the other day, fancied one and pulled the trigger on a fan spec’d 27/50. Hadn’t seen this thread. Let’s see if it differs significantly from the brown hair talked of here — which it should, this is 50-50 as opposed to 35-65 mane-tail. I’m assuming that should make it softer at the tips, ease down on backbone and thus make it less scritchy.

It would be interesting to hear your opinion about the product of your choice.
Meanwhile my Zenith is my number one favorite (100% mane hair). This brush is really amazing. If I had to give away all my brushes except one, this brush would be definitely the one to keep forever. And I have tried all different kinds of shaving brushes, included the very best synthetics you can buy nowadays.

Once more I have to give many thanks to Sir Elder. Without his advice I would probably never find this real beauty of a shaving brush!

Just received. Immediate thought and feel: tips like a silvertip and backbone like a drill sergeant. Somehow smaller than I expected, both handle and knot. I'm positive the Epsilon Krion handles are bigger. From what I've read I should expect to give this at least a handful of palm lathers before anything.
