Yea I will try the angles but I did experiment. @Glen_Lee I have used injectors before yes with no issues but I did attach the plate before adding the blade. I will keep you posted.

I am going to have another go with it tonight. I have changed the head and used one blade to set then put in another (seems a waste) but it all seems overly complicated to me :/

  4. Because loading into an empty injector so often bungs up the blade, the beauty of the Supply is that you can just set one into the plate and screw it on, almost like a DE. After that they load as smooth as silk.

Since I have started using Feather Pros in it, I am doing that anyway.

It really is an ingenious razor.

Well I think it's ok no more than that. I had a shave on classic setting today and the blade was ok and the shave was ok but not as good as the Schick adjustable or the other Injector that Blademonkey gifted me (a few nicks, not sure if the blades are schick, don't feel it) I don't like the fact that you essentially have to waste a blade to align a new head when fitting it. I might try the more aggressive head later it depends if anyone else is waiting for this. If they are I am resdy to post on.

OK will get it off to him some time this week sometime. I have not been on ATG in a while as it is pretty dead there but will pop over and get his address :)

  9. You dont have to waste a blade. You just lay it in place on the base, fit it together and put the screw in.

Ahhhhhh ok well this is the only passaround that I have not really got along with. That's good in away because if I liked it i'd be tempted to shell out over 100 quid on one. I will stick to my Schicks.

  11. Like all razors it will not be everyone's cup of tea but at least you've had the chance to try one without having to fork out any cash.
I really like this razor and it gives me great shaves every time, anyway how are you getting on with the G1 Schick? :)

Supply is great razor. But it need time to "click" with it if you never use injector before. It was my first (and only) injector and I have problem to find right angle, preseure etc... But when I find it - Wow! What a shave!

And one more thing. Perssona injector blades are much better in Supply then Chicks. Of course, YMMV.

Now, my first weapon of chois will be Supply or The General. sorry DE but you will must wait.

YMMV on blade Choice, the Personna did not do it for me at all, even on a 3 dot plate. I have yet to try a modern
    Japanese Schick.

  14. It was the Personna injector blades that I supplied with the supply SE and I have to agree with you that these blades do work quite well with this razor although I do prefer Schick blades in my other injectors. YMMV as always!
I have also found that my DE razors are overlooked more and more these days in favor of my SE razors but I have not given up using them completely just yet. Too many razors and only one face! :)

  15. we all have different beard types so it's not at all surprising that some will not get along with the Personna blades yet it is curious why I can get a good shave with them only when matched with the supply SE and no other SEs I've tried. :)

@Blademonkey the G1 is doing very well thanks! Efficient but gentle. I will have to buy some of those Schicks when I get some money but it is such a shame you can only get them from the US now. I was not really bowled over by those Personna injector blades: a surprize as I like their DE blades. Can I have the Schick amazon link again?

  17. Yes, the seller is Mr medical on the US Amazon , he is the only one who ships to the UK I think.
I'm pleased you are getting on with the Schick G1 ,efficant and gentle sounds good to me :) I'm sorry I can't give you a direct link to the seller, I wouldn't know how to do it!! :)

There are two sellers on Amazon US who ship to the UK and collect VAT upfront, thus avoiding Royal Mail ransom. One is Mr Medical (used them myself - fantastic), the other is Amazon US (obviously - and when they have the blades in stock - they currently do)
