port

Dow's Trademark Reserve is a consistently good tipple, for me ......... and can be had on offer for as little as £6 - £8.

One I love, though .... Is Graham's Six Grapes ........ Not quite as easily gotten hold of, but you can find it here and there........ Like getting completely trousered on Ribena :D

I love port, not least because it always invokes happy memories of Mess dinners. This year I have some of the M&S port; not yet opened. In fact, it won't be opened until after Christmas, because I'm going to my sister's on the day, and I intend to enjoy my port in peace and quiet afterwards.

On the whole I prefer Tawny to Ruby when it comes to Port, Morribongos does a very reasonable 10yo (the base level one ain't bad either) at a good price.
Any of the Niepoort Ports would also do I've not had a bad one yet, White Rabbit being my favourite.

Crimbo dinner at my Bro's this year though so Blandy's Madeira will be the after dinner tipple of choice.

I have 2 bottles of 1971 port, one taylors and one grahams tawny, all gifts from my dad, i had a cockburns that i opened on my 40th.
One for my 50th and the last will be drunk to celebrate my dads life, his orders.
Hopefully he will make my 50th as he has lymphoma and in remission im keeping my fingers crossed.
