Posting a pic to another member in pm's

I can post a pic on a normal thread but not via a pm. How do I do it?

Strange, because I have recently without any issues.

Traded a soap and we exchanged pictures in a conversation of the items.

I pasted the link from imagur & it appeared.
Checked through my recent conversations & it's still there.
It was 17th Jan, maybe something has changed since?

Just paste the photo URL once it's been uploaded to a photo hosting site
I did it yesterday and it works fine

I have a message in my sent items with pics.

Does that mean the recipient didn't get the pics or msg?
