Hi chaps,

I dont suppose anyone knows where I can source a Pulsar brown leather strap?

I usually take it to a chap in town but his taking ages to sort it out so I thought I would do it myself.

Many thanks

Stuart

Does it have to be Pulsar branded? Accurately measure the width in mm between the two lugs then have a look on ebay. Hirsch are a great make but a little expensive. I have a nice black Darlena strap on a Citizen watch and it's wearing just as well as any Hirsch I've previously had. Weston Watch Straps are pretty good too: http://www.westonwatchstraps.co.uk/

Ideally yes Pulsar but not a big deal if it isnt.

I shall measure up tomorrow and get a pic of the watch on here as the strap is a hard leather as in it is very rigid and doesnt flop if that makes any sense??

Thanks for info Gairdner

Aye, it's nae guid if it's floppy! You'll struggle to find a Pulsar branded one I would think and after-market straps are probably of better quality if you purchase a reliable brand. That's going on how long the original straps lasted on my own watches compared to their replacements. You can buy all sorts of thicknesses, padded and non-padded, different textures and colours, water resistant and all manner of other types of leather watch straps on t'internet. Just make sure you get the right size then use your Google Fu to locate a strap that appeals to you. Oh and make sure you search for leather WATCH straps as missing out that all important middle descriptor will very likely yield disturbing results. Or not....:D

Here are a few pics of the watch and the strap... as you can see the strap has seen better days.

Ahh now, I foresee problems. Yon's a special type of fitment whereby the leather has been cut away at the corners to fit between the large lugs. I would think it best to get in touch with Pulsar or an authorized dealership. Even try contacting a specialist strap shop like the one above or as last resort, have one made to spec. That ain't a cheap option however. Anyhoo, that's me out of ideas, I'm afraid. o_O

Hi Stuart,
I have the exactly same Pulsar watch model and the strap is broken. I would like to know if you found a way to replace your strap because Pulsar don't make this kind of strap anymore.
