I've never had direct contact with him, but I've read some posts around the web on some other forums from people not really happy with the..let's say responsiveness and support.
Basing my opinoin on the look of the brushes, they seem cool and well done. When it comes to user satisfaction, well, some say great things, other say very bad things, mostly about delays, unresposiveness, bad "warranty" policies. But hey, I cannot tell if a post is real or fake, so I'm just reporting what I've read around the web
