Thursday...

Soap - P&B Baskerville
Brush - RazoRock Plissoft 24mm synth.
Face lather
Razor - Ever Ready 1912 pat. U.K.
Blade - Gem Personna
Post - Thayer's and Floïd MV

Smooth as you like today. I can't remember how many times I've used this particular blade, but it's still performing well. 3 passes and a small buffing under the chin.

Baskerville's good too; I like that tarry rope smell and it lathers beautifully. Leaving the lid off to let it dry before putting away. Some may remember an issue I had with Star Noir being slightly sticky: I've left it to dry for a good few days sans lid and it's firming up.

Cool burn of the Floïd and my face feels great.

Razor..Asylum RX
Blade..Feather AC proguard #1
Soap..Mystic water Orange spice tea
Brush..Zenith B03-A26
Post..Thayers lavender AF witch hazel
Silver perfume oil ( pulse points)

A fabulous shave using this pass around RX with a proguard, perfect BBS with zero irritation or mishaps.
The Mystic Water soap was quite hard to lather but once there it was stable and performed very well.
My Zenith brush was a dream to use..lovely brush!

Thanks to @Paul for the RX and @riverrun for his admin work.

Untill the next time........

Thursday's shave set-up.

Pre-shave - Warm shower, Wright's Coal Tar Soap and Village Barber Shaving Oil.
Razor - Muhle Rocca R96.
Blade - Astra SP (day 2).
Soap - OSP Eucalyptus Tea Tree Menthol.
Brush - Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic Badger Hair Shaving Brush.
Post shave - OSP Eucalyptus Tea Tree Menthol Aftershave Tonic and organic aloe vera.

Excellent 2 pass shave with no issues. I enjoyed the OSP Eucalyptus Tea Tree Menthol, I did not get the best lather, and will need to work on my technique. That said, one of the best soaps I have used. Decided to give up on the Gillette Nacet's for the moment. Possibly a dodgy blade, will try again later at some point.

All the best,

Chris

Omega s10065 Synthetic.
OSP Bay Rum
Executive Shaving "Claymore" Se-143g
Schick Proline Type P [2 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Floid Vigoroso A/S lotion

Though a rather heavy Razor compared with others, that weight can be used to advantage when shaving,
as the weight makes one resist the urge to apply pressure to the Razor.

Todays Shave was very smooth and comfortable, and while close all round perhaps a Feather Pro might get closer.
However, the bonus of using this blade is that it seems very forgiving of errors , and might be an ideal choice for those with a sensitive skin.

OSP is a great soap, I'm sure you'll be rewarded with a superb lather from it.

Brush: Stirling Finest Badger Fan
Razor: Hone Type 15
Soap: Stirling Lemony Orange
Post: Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri

Using some vintage Stirling Soap, had this since August 2014 and hardly used it. Smells lovely like a citrus madeira cake, the Acqua di Parma complements it very nicely. The Stubby Light makes a good Razor holder.

Another mild shave with the Hone but very nice and no irritation or cuts
